It depends on your needs. If you want to import a mailing list without having to worry about getresponse doing a double opt-in check, then i wouldn't recommend it. If you need a software that can import and start blasting, then most of the paid subscription sites won't be able to help.

I use both GR and Beyond Response. Beyond Response is good for mass mailing if you are harvesting emails or importing from a list.

Thanks for sharing about FreeAutobot. Based on your testimonial here, I would give FreeAutobot a shot. I've been looking for this kind of free program.

My experience with freeautobot in initial phases was good. But later on my mails reach 2/3 days late and sometimes 4/5 mails at a time in the mailbox, which is of no use. (Customer loose interest till that time). So I quit freeautobot and done a trick.

The following trick will be useful for those who can install ready scripts on their shared servers. You'll not deleted in any case if you follow this and you can mail safely to a list of 6000. If you have another domain, you can further mail to 6000. This way if you have 15 domains, you can sent to 90,000.

    I explained it here

Hi, I'm using Aweber. I've thought about using other services, but I've discovered that's the one a lot of successful people are using, so I decided to follow the leaders. I've also had great customer service experience there. The people on live chat are wonderful about answering questions accurately.

The thing about aweber is it gets expensive as your email list grows. If you have a list of 50000 it's like $50 a month (or something like that)

I have a list of over 50k and beyond response handles it all :)

True, but if you have a list of 50,000 email subscribers $50 a month should be pretty easy to come by.:)

I've used Aweber and iContact. Aweber is better overall, but iContact is pretty good also.

I used freeautobot many years ago when my business was a fledgling - I can understand the use for those on a shoestring budget, but personally I think it sends out the wrong message to potential clients and I dislike the external ads used at the bottom (I assume this is still the case).

Aweber FTW.... tried salesautomator for a bit, but you get more tracking and reporting options with aweber. To build on the common saying... "the money is in the list".... halfway true.

The real money is in the relationship with the list.

I use both 'aWeber' and '1shoppingcart'. I can recommend both of these.

The awsome features of Norabots feels good.
For a list of 100,000 or 1 million, they charge a fixed rate of $9.97 per month! GREAT!!
For such a list Aweber or GetResponse will charge many hundreds or thousands.

But what about the 'Mail Delivery Rate' and 'Speed' of Norabots?
Anyone using it and have very GOOD experience with it?
