How many of you are getting $10 for writing a single 500 words article?

    sheesh,, I wanted it yesterday ;)
    But my gripe is people PM me, I reply to them, saying OK, it's a deal.. and I then never hear from them again. Rude little sh*ts IMO
    And I'm not talking non US residents here...

    lol. they probably only realized the topic once they started writing.
    depending on your urgency, you may eventually need to increase the offer before the more experienced writers steps in.

    perhaps, though these weren't 1c/word quotes. No haggling, I accepted what they asked for. If it was outside what I could afford, I just told them straight up. Not going to waste their time or mine.

    From what I've read around the internet .01 - .05 a word is the going rate so between $5 and $25 for a 500 word article.
