I'm an ebay affiliate and I'm pleased. I'm not making $400 / month like that jeep guy. But I'm pleased.

If you target the right market, *everybody* buys stuff on eBay. Even if you're not directly marketing whatever it is you're linking, as long as it's something interesting enough to get them to click through, you're set. I've been getting right around 3-4% conversion on clicks. Several people even bought cars, which I netted around $40 each on. And my links never really had anything to do with cars.

Ebay is perfect for my hobby niche site. I wish I would have found it sooner. Oh well, you read and learn.

ebay is great...converts alot but you don't get a whole lot per conversion, unless they buy something expensive or they're a new signup ($25 for new signups who bid).

Just started as an ebay affiliate about 3 weeks ago. Just using it as links that I send to my previous customers. So I simply changed the links I was already using in my marketing of my own auctions.

I bought BANS (Build a Niche Store - see my signature aff link :D) a month ago, set up my first website with ebay listings, and had my first successful affiliate site. Finally some consistent cash flow to my cj account! Bringing in about 80-100 a month now minus the adwords fees

I'm doing well with my phpBay script (shameless plug), but I'd like to setup some more stores. Right now, I'm working on much better osCommerce version that integrates the script. My challenge has been setting aside time from updating/building code, to actually implement it. If one store can do $300 - $400 a month, then ten (or more) stores could do ______?

Once I get finished with the next release of phpBay Pro and the osCommerce store integration, I plan to take some time off to do nothing but build new stores for a while.

I've been an eBay affiliate on CJ for 5 or 6 years now. It's a very good program, as eBay has products for just about every niche. They also have a lot of tools that affiliates can use to bring targeted results to their site.

    Hey,

I have heard that ebay affilaites do make some money. I hear that some of the "super" ones actually make high six figures a month. IS that true? has anyone heard of that before?

Who knows. Also how does it work?

ok fair enough then. I wonder how much they must spend in advertising to actually reach those figures. I am pretty damm sure that they would be spending a fair amount.

Once you take out all costs, tax and other liabilites, I wonder how much of that is profit?

One million turnover isnt to be scoffed at by any means.

    Would you know?

I am currently with the Ebay US and Ebay Australia affiliate program. Still getting many kinks worked out.

I looked at BANS but am not too sure it is what I'm after. I would prefer to have ebay links without the ebay logo. As I've also stopped using AuctionAds, I may be forced to get a headache and try the ebay API to build a custom store/portal for ebay niches.
