Its Hard To Find Genuine Copy In India, Software Piracy Is To Its Extent In India And Also End Users Are Not Aware Of Genuineness.
Most copies of Windows being used in the Philippines are also pirated. But local authorities here have been cracking down on business establishments using pirated versions of Windows in their place of business.
Every PC I have has genuine windows on it. Have 3 legit Windows Vista Ultimate "DVDs" laying around somewhere here too--what a waste of money.
In my country, only companies are using genuine software. Individual are using the pirate version. Unless their PC or Notebook is already come with the genuine copy.
I doubt haw many of the total windows users in India actually use the original cop. Piracy is rampant here ! And i don't see much being done about it other than the constant ads by microsoft requesting people to use the original!
to whoever that left disapproval regarding updates, windows will deny the certain security and custom updates and certain access to download center if you failed the genuine test thats how end up buying mine for both computers after a year of using copies. at least to my XP pro and that's why I'm saying.
