    It normally takes many months to get organic traffic to the site. But if you are buying cheap traffic then you can definitely get as many visitors as you spend. eg: adv in adf.ly will increase the traffic by a huge amount but the bounce rate will very much high. You can ask your friend to show his traffic as well as his bounce rate and you will come to know the truth

    Depends on the content. Good traffic requires good content. It might not be difficult to get a high number of pageviews per day, but if the bounce rate is high and the time spent on the site is low, there's very little point in it. Content is king.

    I would say its very hard to get 10k visitors but its also not out of the world. It surely depends on your content. And why bother with quantity when you don't have the quality. Eg- many adult sites have more than 10k pageviews daily but an ordinary site can earn more than them even with 500-1000 visitors. So, just focus on quality rather than running behind numbers.
