How many months Google check is active?

I forgot to hold my payments and Google send me a check for only ~ $120. But here, in my country it is expensive to cash a check, so I want to wait for another one and to cash two checks at once. How long can I wait before cashing the check? One, three, six months....

What will happen if I do not cash the check in time? Will Google return these ~$120 to my account and send it again with the next check?

    Thanks :)

Check the actual check... see if there is a time limit on it... although I would think not. I don't have a check handy to check for you... :(. If there is nothing written on the check (Such as Cash within 90 days of issuance, etc.) then I don't think you need to worry. Maybe someone more experienced with holding their checks for a while can advise you even further.

Most checks say "Good for 60 days" or "Good for 90 days" on them, but I have routinely had banks ignore those printed statements.

Most companies will not cancel and reissue a check unless you specifically request it.

Thanks for replies :) Its my fault that i didn't check AdSense FAQ before asking here. This is the official Google position about check expiration:

    illef,

First of all whats the whole idea of holding your cheque? If you hold this cheque and say you get another one. Now you go the bank to clear 2 cheque. The bank will charge the "Agent clearance charges" for each cheque seperately. They wont give you a discount for cashing 2 cheques together.

I work for a bank, so you can trust me. I advice you get the money from this cheque and for next one, change currency to local Euro.

All checks are valid for 6 months only. So bank it before 6 months of the issue date.
