My primary OS: Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Vista for playing games If you are PC game freak then using linux might push you back otherwise linux is perfect.
opensuse always current versions ( earlier called suse ) since 1998. On my www servers as well as on production laptops.
I think there is very less percentage of them. None of my friends as well as me use Linux. All use Windows.
I am very much comfortable and contented with my Windows OS so far. I have been using Windows for a long time already.
I will suggest ubuntu 9.10 because it is easy use for the newer person and the controls are also similar to the windows.
Fedora Linux & Ubuntu Linux on pc#1/2 Vista on pc #3 xp for testing only on #4 and 1x laptop on windows 7 (might have a few more in the attic but noting worth adding)
Dual booting Windows 7 and Ubutnu. Quite a nice compromise between functionality in the day time and productivity/stablitiy at night
I am using Centos 5. Find it a solid workhorse, even if it's not as fancy pants as some other linux distro's out there.
I have Dual OS in my PC one is XP and the other is Ubuntu. I like working on Ubuntu as it is more secure than XP.
