how many links???

    hi i have a blogger.I have read that home page shouldnt have more than 20 links to other sites or blogs.Otherwise you get penalised by search engines.Is it true?Since i have blogger and blogger doesnt have the facility to have a separate links page should i limit by links to only 20 as of now?Is there any other way out to have more links on blogger?Also linking to sites which dont belong to my niche is going to damage by traffic rather than increasing it?Pls let me know.Thanks!

    yes, it's best to have no more that 20 outbound links and no more of 100 links (total) on a page.

    don't know whether its true or not i have read that somewhere! that its better to have at most 20 links
