How many links to put in article?

How many links is it best to put in an article? Some article directories limit to 2 but others do not.

 

if limit only 2, the best position on the header or intro article and the footer

 

Just one.

Tell your story, be good at it, then lead them into clicking on the link, which is at the very end.

No sense in having another one in the beginning, right?

I don't know about you, but I hate articles that won't let me finish reading before a link is thrown at me!

Mintarticles allows a total of 5 links, and the moderator even allows me to put in clickbank hoplinks. But the links are all nofollow

 

I usually put between 2 - 3, but I try to limit it to 2 links.

 

Most directories allow 3 links on resource box...

 

I think the best would be to write a good article and place your link in the resource box. One should be enough to get targeted traffic.

if you put more than two links in the same article, it would look spammy.. the effect would be opposite

 

Agreed....Its more about the content

 

two to three is better. if yu also want to emphasize some then just bold it or underline it.
