How Many Links Per Day?

Hi All, I have basically a big budget to build links for this one site of my clients! I always recommend not to buy thousands of links in one day. But is there an actual limit? I mean couldn't I buy them now and just wait for them to come into there own?

How does this work in your opinion and what is your opinion based on?

there is no exact numbers but getting huge links in a short time may be a sandbox reason

 

I got one link per week, my problem is not links increase much, but little.

 

Try for at least 5 fresh links a week.

 

5 a week? I get more links then that from people now as it is. Did you mean 5 a day?

 

maybe it should be a % of your backlinks instead of a hard number...but I dont know how many %...

 

I dont think it matters how many links a day you get because they all won't get picked up at the same time. I mean you could get 1000 but only 50 of them get picked up everyday for the next week you are saying 5 links a day assuming spiders will pick up your 5 links daily doesnt work that way. Spiders visit diffrent sites at diffrent intervals so regardless how much you get per day, not all will show up at the same time.

 

I see, would that also explain why all of a sudden I just moved up in some terms even though I have not gotten any links nor made onpage changes for a few weeks? It moved up like 8 spots>>>

 

Yes depending on how often the site has new content and the Pr determines how often spiders visit so just because you put up a new link today doesnt mean it will get picked up for another month and a half if its a static site

 

Hmm, well I guess I just need to figure out a way to get new content to all the pages I want updated every week. That could be tough, would just changing to a alternate page work or does it need to be the same page just added to continually to obtain top results?

 

No crazy, I mean how often the pages you get links from are updated.. So if I have 2 sites and I give you links on both, One site gets updated daily and the other once a year then chances are the one updated daily links will be picked up quicker by spiders.

I would say there is no actual limit.
Just try not to spam. Links from quality sites are ALWAYS welcome
