How many links on my site vs. Linkfarm?

I have a PR4 automotive site that I don't use for anything special. I just sell some links on it in the blogroll. People probably buy links from my site as it's PR4 and I'm afraid of loosing its pagerank because of too many links in the blogroll. The site is becoming a linkfarm as I have more and more buyers.

How many links in the blogroll are Google-friendly? When should I stop? The links are automotive related.

Not quite sure but about 4-5 outgoing links should be the limit.

I think you can place upto 10 links in your site. But it should be related to automobile.

If this is the high number of outbound links in a site then what about directories and forums?

"I think you can place 4-5"..."about 10"..."exacly 7 but not in monsoon season"....STFU..............unless you go totally librarian pooh, Google doesn't really care about the number of outlinks per page. Matt officailly retracted the 100 "limit" a year or two ago.

The number of links per page means nothing more than a bit of page rank dilution. Google's big issue is with SELLING links and ESPECIALLY selling links for page rank.

Having said that, if you are in fact selling links for PR, GO FOR IT. Make hay while the sun shines. It won't be tooooo long before people catch on so go on and make a buck or two while you can.
