i just noticed my article page has WAY over 100 links (around 300) and i just wanted to know if it might hurt me. if so, im gonna change it immediately to where i have article page 1, page 2, etc.
The "magic" number I have always heard is "keep it under 100"... That being said, I think it's just a guideline...kind of like the pirate code. I've seen more on corporate pages and they dont seem to be penalized.
Recommended to be fewer than 100. http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769
According to Google you should have less than 100 external links There would be no problem if all those links are internal links But keeping it to a minimum will do a lot of good for you!
