Matt has discussed different points on how many links should a page have? Video Summary: Restrict to around 100 link per page if possible for better bot crawling. Your Page Rank is divided among number of links. If you're sharing useful/valuable stuffs, number of link won't affect your page or SEO. Don't add tons of links on a page.
Good share. Although the number of links can be 100 but keep this figure lower, not for the crawlers but to keep visitors aside from the mess (because of huge number of links) and provide them with a clean environment. Exceptions may be there for some page like site navigation or similar.
I'd agree with the above, don't over do the links on a page, especially internal linking anchor text, this can actually do more damage than good...
I agree with @webdev007 - Users need to make sense of the content and links in a page, so even if you have 100+ links on your homepage, make sure they are organized and meaningful to the sections of the page.
Great info in the video! Thanks for sharing that with us Blogdom. I think what's most important was his explanation of the Pagerank distribution. We all know that inbound linking between our articles is important for SEO but keep it to a reasonable amount to stop it from appearing spammy.
I'll have to take a look at this video. It makes sense to me so far as it is -- making sure not to put too many links on a page. I always put more non-clickable text on a page than clickable -- alot more.
