How many links have you got in your directory?

    Go look it up in your MySQL database (I'm guessing that 99% uses MySL) and come brag a little...

    So, How many links do you have - are you the big shark or the little duckling in this pond?

    Me...?
    Well, after one little week I got allmost as many links in my Hot Gossip Directory as I made categories (500+).

    My goal...?
    A couple of millions should do it I guess - I'm not greedy :D

    Just a few hundred, deleted and banned about 1/3 of submissions with 1 click because the people doing submissions must have been morons. They don't realize that they waste a lot more time than the directory admin.

    Seems there is a long way to go yet ;)

    Nobody else got really far?

    What I really need is a plan for moving towards 100K submissions - within a reasonable time frame.

    In five days I got 500+ links, so obviously it is going to take some time... this is hard work :) :rolleyes:

    approx 600 links in 5 months from around 2300 total submissions.
    yeah, i am choosy :) but since i am offering a free service, i have every right to accept only the highest-quality links.

    What is the point in deleting sixty thousand links in a directory :confused:

    I can only imagine this must be due to technical problems, and not some sort of "I-think-my-directory-got-too-big-for-its-own-good" thing :p

    Anyway 60,000 links is good work - how long time did it take to compile?

    noo...it's rarely pr, usually i look at how the page looks, at it's content, if it's too crowded with adsesnse or not, if it has real value to someone or it's made just for the sake of it..
