All it takes is one from another webpage that has a high PR.

Dont forget about KEYWORDS - Page Rank is great - but i have plenty of sites with low pr outranking heavy hi pr sites :)

page rank is only half of it!! cleaver marketing is KEY

An interesting table, one that can certainly be useful if it is close to the mark.

As far as I understand, this table is based on the Kleiberg's algorithm, right?

I must admit that even in 1997 Google didn't work purely accoring to Kleinberg, so I would trust this table too much ;)

Don't slam the door on the lower PR links. They count too.
That would be like deciding to save as much money as you can by throwing away all your nickles and dimes and not accepting them any more. All the links help you just want to concentrate your time and efforts on the higher PR.

If you want high PR only just got for links with PR4+

but if you want links to boost up your ranking, do not ignore all links, even links with PR0 because

    - It may a page with unique content
    - It may be a page on relevant theme
    - It may got PR5-7 in the next update :D

and try to get many many links from authority sites/directory, even that page has PR0.

If the PR0 dir. is relevant, on-topic one one can just like that go for it. If it is not relevant, I feel, no point in going for it even if it gets updated during the next visit. As long as u can feed yr site with relevant PR links for yr site, no need to think of PR0 links.

I think PR0 sites are also pretty useful: if your site has oly PR5-8 backilinks, then if I were Google, I'd definitely decide that ALL these links are NOT NATURAL (in real llife for each PR5 backlink, you get tens/hundreds of PR0's)
