I have been approached to build links for a prospective new client. They want to beat sourceforge.net for a particular software name in the SERPS Sourceforge has 72,000,000 links in Yahoo I know I won't need that many obviously, but are 50K links too many in a year? What would you say the max number would be? Crazy numbers I know, I would love to land this job
I didn't know there was a such thing as "too many". I thought as long as they were consistent amounts it would be passable. You wouldn't want 50k backlinks in January and then like 1,000 for the rest of the year.
In my point of view, there is no fixing about numbers of back links to a specific website as whole or some page or pages but links should look like natural, organic in relevancy and theme of niche.
I understand information I won't requirement that more unmistakably, but are 50K links too more in a point in time?
Yeah, I have never thought of links in terms of numbers. Although volume is a concern but I pay more attention to the quality of links and sources.
