Some campaigns I have up to 180k keywords. If you find keywords that convert, you can use them to build upon. I also really like Wordze to find keywords. I have a review on my blog (signature link).
It's not the problem of producing a great amount of keywords, the problem is finding a set of keywords that convert very very well.
With Wordze, do you have a problem with getting IRRELEVANT keywords? I use Keyword Elite and while it's a good program, even with a "phrase search". I get too many irrelevant keywords if I start a large list, and I spend most of my time filtering irrelevant keywords. I might start a list of 10K keywords and end up with 3K after filtering.
