One of my friends have campaign (he advertise method of learning language) and he have 10 campaigns 1000 keywords each. Keywords are really funny: number, name of flowers etc.

Do you think its good idea to advertise site with so many words so that ads would be always on almost every page:confused:

no!! Google Adwords is not about that. In doing so... you will yield a super low CTR resulting in your CPC becoming higher and higher.

This is how Google punish ppl for doing tt. Untagetted audience= Low CTR =HIGH CPC! You will end up paying maybe $16 per click just to get your ad listed

Yes, but maybe its a good idea for people whose doesn’t know what keywords choose - their product is new and people doesn’t look for it? Maybe this strategy is good for first time when we want introduce our product to new costumers?

No. I bet your "friends" campaigns convert like shit.

Unless he's willing to spend ridiculous amounts of $$$ all his keywords will become inactive soon enough.

Yes you are right that this type of campaign is for "stupid" and "rich" but costumers go to his website and buy his product  Maybe it is like in the supermarket you had gone there to buy cola and you went out from it with basket full of products ? Someone will look for car and he will pass to his website? I wrote it before his product is new in our market and people don’t know it!

Having is site like supermarket (== lots of markets together) may justify huge number of keywords, but again internet supermarket doesn't cover all the keywords, so any keyword which is related to the market(s) of his site is good...anything unrelated just doesn't make sense.

Googles mission is to get people what they want.
They reward their advertisers for highly targeted and relevant adwords campaigns.
Each keyword is individually rated with a "quality" score. This is dependant on several factors but inparticularly the CTR and the conversion rate.
When you give google what they want they let you pay alot less for clicks from the no 1 spot.
I run several campaigns for www.day2dayshop.com so im not just talking from theorey :)
    Happy hunting!

Its always better to have huge keywords at first.

I run with huge list of keywords and then will delete underperforming keywords gradually.
So initially u will have high cpc and then you will start wondering the low cpc you see.,

On some keywords i have cpc as low as .02 cents
