How many keywords should be in top 10 ?

    I have over 45,000 keywords in the top10 for one of my sites...so it really doesn't matter how many you have in the top10. the more the merrier. more traffic :)

    Most searches aren't in single keywords, but key phrases. I get most my traffic from (two word) phrases, not keywords (top ten or otherwise). In fact, I have lost significant ground on what where my most important keywords, but because I gained ground on phrases - the numbers are actually up. And we're talking around 4000 visitors a day here.
