    Hi there,

I want to know that how many keywords should be in the top 10 results of Google to get the 1000 organic visitors per day from Google?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Regards

it entirely depends on the keyword! if you're in the top 10 for 'Britney Spears', you'll only need one!

Topic says "How many keywords should be in top 10?". Answer can be only one: 10. Ok, I'm just joking.
There is no simple answer. All that depends of what you have to work with.

Yep. Don't limit yourself. 1000 is a nice goal, however, you should be looking to get as many as you can. Not just that. The amount in the top 10 isn't important. I get traffic for some keywords on page 3 or 4.

Traffic is traffic as long as it's related. Just work on your site and it will get there, don't give up.

As has been said it entirely depends on the popularity of the keyword. Many times it can be much more effective to target many non-competitive keywords instead of wasting massive time or money chasing the most popular ones.

It depends. One keywords can give u 100 unique visitors if your keyword is very popular.

Basically it depends on 2 factors:

    1. Popularity of your keywords (how many times people are searching for it)
    2. CTR (Click through Rate); Higher the ranking on the Google, higher is the CTR. Generally 1 position gets 25-30% CTR depending on the industry.

Use wordtracker.com to find it out the most popular keywords.

I have targeted keywords that would be classified as low-to-moderate in competitiveness. That has allowed these words to work their way up to the point where, as of today, 22 of them are in Google's top ten.

That is generating a website total of about 1,000 unique visitors (not just from Google) each day.

You can use many keywords as long as it's on top of SERP.

IMO it depend on the topic of your site...you can get much traffic with a site that is not really appealing to others...

    • First of all, the "low-to-moderate competitiveness" of the terms allows you to score higher more quickly.

    • Second, directory submissions by the ton! And vary the keywords in the title so as to use a variety of targeted keywords. But be sure that they are realistically descriptive of your website, so that you are not spamming the directories.

    • Ensure that the targeted keywords occur in the webpage text, in appropriate amounts and with good placement.

You can drive 1k uniques per month pretty easily without any terms in the top ten. You could also have several terms in the top 10 and fall short of your goal. It all depends on the terms.

    • Not "...per month", but 1,000 uniques per day is what the poster inquired about. It would be pretty impressive to get 1,000 daily uniques without any keywords in the top ten. Not impossible, but impressive.

    • Not mentioned in the thread, but also of great importance, is returning visitors. I'm finding about 130 returning visitors each day. My wife suggested to me once that those are perhaps the most important visitors to the website (their repeat visits indicate an established loyalty to the site). I think she is correct.

Even 1k per day from terms outside the top 10 isn't all that hard. I do have several terms in the top 10 for one of my blogs but I would say it drives over 1k per day from all other terms. (Google alone) The blog is about 4-5 months old with a moderate amount of content and under $150 in advertising all together.
