    For optimum performance - one.

That's often impractical, but in reality, as few as possible, to keep them closely related to each other, the ad text and the landing page.

This is where Magda and I differ, as well as many others here.

There is no set answer to this. As long as all keywords are relevant, there is no problem having 100 keywords in a group. You would not normally have that many but it is possible. The example I use in my book does have that many and more but that is the exception rather than the rule. An average is about 10 and this is very manageable. I find one keyword per group to be very unmanageable but I know people who do this.

if your run a content campaign recommended to me not less 5 keywords and not more than 15 keywords and try to set them as keyword theme like play games, free games...etc
and if you run search campaign as you can add relevant keywords but before that try to use keyword tool it will help you how this keywords have search volume and the completions for this keywords also try to use traffic estimator tool to know the avg cpc for every keywords to can set your daily budget.
    Thanks

Right ... no set answers here but I'd start small at first to achieve your first few positive ROI campaigns. The key to results IMO is to track down to the keyword for finding winning combinations (usually works better with specific product keywords AKA 'buying' keywords).

On the other hand, it's pretty convenient to have a list of 100 keywords in a campaign and see which ones are converting, then remove the duds after a set period of time. Better to have tracking software by that point though. By the way, I do the same with my ads and split test the good ones after a set period of time.

    Cheers,

People will tell you a million different things here about keywords and ad groups. Generally no more than 10 - 15 keywords in an adgroup. But they all must relate.
