Yup, aggreed. For me choosing long tail keyword (so it will make our website more niche) and concentrate to develop content base on that keyword.
Even if you only have ten (10) KWs but i its a GOOD KWs (KW is GOOD if the monthly Queries is proportional to SE results of the KW)... Its enough to have that # of KWs.
Somebody tell to me that I must ignored the meta tag because it's not to useful... It's much better if I will concentrate to the keyword of my content.... but if you meta tag: 3 major keyword and 2 minor keyword...
I always use 5 to 10 keywords. It depends on the content of the page at hand. I read somewhere that as far as Google is concerned, only the first 5 matter, but maybe that's just an old wives' tale
Keywords won't help in Google, and they help minimally in the other SE's. Keywords are not that important anymore. Focus more on your description and page content instead of some garbled discombobulated list of keywords.
I mainly use long tail keywords from 10 to 50 i sorted out that they are more usefull than short ones if competition is high.
I remember seeing an unwritten rule about only using a max. of 7 per page, although I never understood where that number came from.
In relation to this thread, can it work if i focus on perhaps 50 different long tail keywords, not all on the same page, but perhaps 2-3 per page?
