How many keyword phrases should I target?

    how many keywords phrases people would type into the search engines to seek out what your company provides and how many pages your site has.

    Well, working this way, if your website does have high competition then google adwords tools may help you to find what are the main keyword, then you use all keyword with less searches and work out your SEO on those keywords.

    thinking this way: would rather be in page 5/6 of google for 1 high competitive keyword or being in google top 5 in 5 less competitive keywords? won't the traffic you ll get is the same at the end?

    You only target 5-6 keyword phases in one page....if you get better rank in search engine.
