I strongly agree... We target two keyword phrases generally. However a well written title can target multiple keywords.
its depend upon your site and products that you wan to use on your site and also then check keywords for your site that you are using and how many traffic you wil get with single keyword . you can use up to 20 keywords for your site depend upon traffic.
I think 6 is enough. If you want more you could do it, but when you have too many, your artricle will look weird.........
We use two keyword phrases per page so do the math your site wide keyword list could get huge. You need not list all of your keywords on each page just the relevant ones.
Are you referring to the same keyword? It should be repeated more than 3 or 4 times, but it also depends on the size of the article, 400-500 article 3 would be ok. 1000 worded article I would place around 20 semantically related keywords in there, then link those keywords up to another article that talks about that keyword with even more semantically related keywords, to a point I end up having a wiki-pedia linking structure going on. This is probably the most powerful Onpage SEO you can do.
its just not the no. of keywords . its about the keyword density . it has to be between 10 and 15 % .
Could you please support this? I read is week in an interview where Matt Cutts sad once or twice is good enough. Can you imagine how difficult it would be to read if you used a 10-15% density. What you are suggesting is long obsolete.
Wrong, Keyword Density on a page is a myth... It used to work a long time ago, but Google doesn't use that any more. I bet you I will outrank you for a page if you repeated a keyword 5 times and I only repeated it once accompanied by 4-6 other related words that are anchor linked to another article on that topic.
You are thinking the wrong way around. you shouldn't be looking to incorporate keywords into a page. they should already be there. you just select what keywords to use from the page for SEO. e.g. if you had a page about cats, then the word cats should be already on the page. words on the page aren't labelled as keywords and some not. some may be more important, but to answer the question, you can select as many as you like for SEO. Just concentrate on 1 or 2 at a time and build links using the word as anchor text. keyword meta tags aren't used anymore.
I think there is no answer to this. As long as you don't spam the page it would be fine. . .Just don't do stuffing or things that can ruin your site content!
