I was wondering if it was possible to optimize a page for more than one keyphrase. Let's say that I have a page about dogs and I want to target the following keyphrases: - nice little dog - dog food - cheap US dogs - dogs health care Can I target the four phrases at the same time with one page? If you think this is possible, how can it be done?
i is not advisable to target 4-5 keyphase in single page. u should use more 3-4 phase it must be related i mean dog food, dog good online, dog food in uk etc
that's because the search engine would get confused and not know what my page is about, is that correct?
The optimization is a littel confusing all in all . What is most importent for SE optimation? It is the links that is pointing to a site or the content(and keywords) on the site it self? Cheers bqlinks
You could try using your key phrases in links that you obtain and put them in the Title to pick up the terms!! Mix them around in different links!!
The best is to create single pages for every keyword, but if that's not possible, different keywords could work!
i dont suggest you to use all of them on one page. it's better to make some seperate pages for all your keywords
Now let me summerize what we all think: the more focussed a page is, the better. But if I have to target more than one word, they should be related and no more than 3. This is also what I thought. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't wrong. I still have a question, what would be a natural like anchor texte proportions - 25% phrase 1 - 30% phrase 2 - 25% phrase 3 - 20% others
Hello, I believe it depends not only of the anchors, but also from other things too. It also depends on where in the text you put the keyphrases and in which format (the usage of tags). Tags usage is the second SEO you can make after the keyword definition. Does anyone had such experience before? Regards
