How many is too many keywords in header/SEO tool

    I have a question. I ran my site through website grader and it mentioned something about only having 10 keywords in my header. I had about 100. Do you find that less is more also in this case? I'd like to get some opinion before I cut out 90 keywords lol.

    Meta keywords are pretty useless these days. Personally, I'd just pick the ten that best describe the page content, and leave it at that.

    As Bill said, I also believe it doesn't affect your rankings much nowadays.

    The problem is that there is no clear definitive answer to this question - I personally, us about 10 key words that are reflected in the description, keyword and content...but I have found no black and white answer!

    Although it won't hurt your website to have that many keyword, it is completely unnecessary to have that many!

    well personally i believe 10 keywords is too many but like these people are saying meta keywords dont matter
