how many is page A pr?

2 pr 5 pages(their outbound link is less than 20,but unrelevant ) link to page A. and page A is also listed in a pr 5 dmoz directory.

so can i foresee how many is page A pr? pr 5 ? or pr 6?

Probably neither - I would be too quick to judge things based on only 3 links. If your page A begins as PR0 it's highly unlikely it'll become PR5 straight away - much more likely PR3 or less.

 

Yea... I too agree if ur current PR is 0 then direct jump to PR5 is very very RARE... u may get PR3 or less my New Dir got PR3 on 1st update last time hoping for a 4 or 5 this time...

just got a pr 4 and two pr 2 and some pr 0 links(forum post page and sig) . its pr from no pr to pr3 after pr update. so I judge page A(that got 3 pr5 links) will be pr 5 after pr update.

 

Bad news but it isn't as simple as that!
Ask anyone around here - PR3 or 4 are very EASY to obtain. Anything higher is more of a challenge and your straightforward logic won't apply.

Anyone who answers will just be guessing because the PR algorithm is constantly changing. Having said that, it's fair to say that if you get yourself maybe a dozen high quality PR6 links and as many lower PR links as you can you have a reasonable chance of getting PR5.

It's based on links, period, not the age of those links.

Three. This is not a guess. Three medium strength PR6 links where you share the page with less than 40 other links will easily get you a PR5 page next update. A medium strength page would be one that gets it's PR in turn from more than a single PR7 link.

1 very strong PR6 link can also get you a PR6 page as a result.

I would guess PR2. You'll need a lot more links than that to get to PR5 or PR6.

sitewide link plays not much,doesn't it? many link come from pr0 page that is forum post or sig.

 

just gather more quality backlinks and don't get obsessed in getting a high PR. =)
