I have just started using adsense. I see some growth but nothing big yet. What is a normal days worth of impressions for blogging sites?

Whats the one single thing I could do to increase this?

There is no "normal". Page impressions are directly related to site traffic. If your site is new and getting very little traffic, your page impressions will be low - and your adsense revenue low. Work on your traffic, promote your site, get backlinks, create interesting content in your blog. All of these things will help build additional traffic. Worry about creating a good web site first. Later, worry about Adsense revenue.

that'a VERY vague open ended question. Some blogs will have hundreds of thousands of page impressions a day while others will have only a few. Too many variables to answer.

I am sorry for the vagueness.

Its just I compare my impressions to my requests on my site stat analyzer and the numbers are very very different.

Your blog subject will be a driver for the number of impressions.

But your question is really "Why are my impressions different from my hitcount?"

Could it be that your hitcounter is counting bots while adsense doesn't?

Every visitor to your site has a "user agent" and hit counters should be able to read the user agent to work out if it's a browser (ie human) or from a search engine bot or some other crawler.

Bear in mind that people will try to trick a site into thinking the visitor is a browser or spoof that they are googlebot or msnbot etc. I could rant for hours on the subject but I'll spare you all that ;)

    1) Content is the key.
    2) Website traffic = money

Website with good content but without traffic = close shop.
Page impression is refering to your site traffic. Example, if your site have 1000 unique visitors daily and page impression is 2000, that mean each visitor read 2 pages. If this is the case, you might consider adding more contents to your site to make them stay longer. Most of the time, forum or blog have more page impressions compare with other ecommerce sites. :)

low traffic = low impression =low money
