How many hours a week does everyone spend on their computers, whether its working, playing, or surfing? I think I must spend at least 50 hrs.

Depends. At the moment I'm spending quite a lot of time on the computer, but I'm on holiday, so I've got nothing else to do really.

But on normal workdays, I usually try at least 2 hours a day, so that's about 10 hours, plus 10-15 on the weekends, so total about 20-25 hours each week.

LOL - when I really think about it, it's more like "How many hours DON'T I spend infront of the computer". Like Arnica, 80 hours is close but then there's quiet weeks, mad weeks, sound about right Mick?

...boy do I feel like I need a holiday.

70 hours working, at least one hour a day at home, mobile phone is pretty much a computer too nowadays... 80 would be an accurate average.

I would say I average 12 hours per day, 7 days a week.

If I was a better typist I could save at least an hour a day, or get more work done, but when I went to school boys never took typing.

Between 75-90 hours per week. Depends on whether or not someone forces me to get off the computer.

Sure does but I'm frightened to calculate the hours spent in a mad week  . Like dazzlin a lot depends on whether I get kicked off by the better half or the kids!

Bob, they still don't do typing at school in the UK today (although they'd probably call it keyboard skills if they did). I'm a little surprised at this but then again most of the kids can input data at a rapid rate these days.

Yeah, My little brother spends his time at school learning things like 3x12 and whatHarry Potter is currently doing in his latest book. Or so I thought...

I went to my Mums the other day and saw his school report on the side. The thing that shocked me most (other than how much better his grades are than mine were), was "How well he has performed in his database lessons in ICT" !?!?!!//?!1/

What!?!?! An 8 year old child, learning at school about Databases!

I'd say that they are starting them pretty early.

I hope so, then one day He could give me a hand on some of my work ; )

I'd argue that nothing can get me away from my computer, but then it's probably best that I do give in to the temptation of going out on my bike...

...and don't forget your Health & Safety issues, boys and girls! Take 5-10 minutes away from your screen every hour, take a walk and go look at some scenery ;)
