I tend to write for around 2 hours per day, sometimes less, sometimes a little more. But that is 2 full hours of keyboard bashing, no procrastination, pure productivity.
I'm a software engineer by profession, i can only write from 500 to 700 words per article and 2 articles a week. do anyone here can share his writing strategy in coming up an article ? I want to improve my writing skill in some way.
Hi there, I regularly publish tips and techniques for content writers. Probably the easiest way to be notified as I publish them is to keep an eye on my Facebook page. Unfortunately, I can't publish links here yet. If you Google up my name (Mac Wheeler), you will find my website as the top listing. There is a like button on the right hand side of the page, just hit like and you will be notified every time I publish a new tip. Hope this helps. Mac.
I'm not a writer but I can write even one 700 word article a day. This is my passion and now I’m prove my quality.
It really depends on the topic and what exactly am I writing. If I am familliar with the topic it may take an hour, if I don't know the topic it may take several hours until I know enough for it to be sufficient. I know that reading matterials about the topic does not constitute for "writing", but I include it anyway because it does take a lot of time.
paid traffic works much better for me than spending time on writing articles. i'd rather pay someone to write
Hi, newbie here. I'm a freelance writer by profession, and I was just wondering what kind(s) of written work are most people talking about when talking about the duration? I mean, when I write for magazines, research alone takes me at least a day to finish. Vetting my sources takes another half a day if I'm lucky. The actual writing of the article (around 2000 words on average), and going through several drafts of it, takes at least half a day. So it's a bit surprising how some people claim to be able to write two to three articles a day, let alone eight! Sorry for being totally ignorant, the DP forum is a little bit of a strange and new realm for me.
I am able to write for the whole day if there are no others urgent and important things to do. But I can't also write even 1 hour if so many others important and urgent thing dancing in my head.
I typically write about 5 hours per day. Haven't had much luck finding work lately though, and people on this site have been slow with payments and asking for lower and lower prices. It just isn't lucrative for me anymore.
I write for anywhere between 60-90 minutes at a time, and I break up these sessions with other things that I need to get done. Breaking up my work like this helps me to be more productive in the long run because I get restless if I try to write for more than 90-120 minutes at a time. When I get restless, my productivity nosedives, so I like to get up and get the blood flowing. I'll typically do between three and five sessions like this each day.
I write about 2 hours a day, but what I find really interesting is that ideas for content usually comes right before I go to sleep or right after I wake up Then I spend about 2 hours implementing ideas, searching domain names and reviewing content at top in search engines.
