i write 3-6 hours perday for 3-4 article. approx 500 words/article. The longer the ideas disappear. So, along day writing will bore me
i usually write 5-6 hours a day and even more than that, if i find any interesting topic. anyways, writing gives me money..so dude i have to need..
For me, writing is a killing time process. I requires most than just an hour. Often, you must think well in order to create good content for your readers.
I have been posting around the forums a bit trying to pick up some more writing clients. I'm currently pretty low on work and only about 1-2 hours per day is dedicated toward writing right now. All of the other time in my schedule is geared toward promoting our websites through guest blogging and link trades. Our Google rankings have been my primary focus but I am hoping to improve my client base pretty soon and ramp things up so I'm writing for 5-6 hours a day instead.
I'd say I do around 3 - 5 hours of writing on any given day. The rest of the time I spend marketing or pretending to be busy.
Seriously, some of you guys are wimps! I can do 10,000 words a day when I need to. That is less often these days now I can get better paid jobs, but when I started out I was doing that every day. How much I write now varies depending on what I get and how much it's worth, there have been times when the jobs have been good enough that I've only needed to work for a few hours one day a week, which balance out the 10,000 word days at the start.
Its getting harder for me to focus on writing for more than one piece of article which is 600 words. If I block a 3 hour period beforehand, then I can total upto 3000 words without issues. This is again without research time. If I have to research it is getting difficult. I just need more practice. Nevertheless writing is a skill to master.
I don't write much anymore. Many better ways to make money online these days that involve much less effort and hassle.
It tends to vary quite a bit between people. I used to write and aimed for a minimum of 5000 words a day to make enough money, but ended up burning out. I now have a staff of writers and editors, and find that most experienced online writers can handle around 5 articles a day comfortably without burning out. A good way to write quicker is to stick to a specific format for each article so that the sections are neat and structured - then pre-research each topic and set up the sections you want to write (i.e. 80-100 words per paragraph) and then go from there.
It depends on what I am writing. When writing my blog entry I try to write a post in about an hour, but sometimes it takes a bit longer if I have to do specific research.
I have team of writers, and every writer easily write 5000-7000 words in a day. I can easily deliver 200 articles in a day.
Writing is my passion, when the topics are my favorite then its impossible to stop me writing even 10,000 words a day. But normally I write 4000 to 5000 words a day in 4-6 hours.
