I've been working about 5 hours a day. More than often though we become info junkies and end up learning loads of different techniques.
I have been following a very successful guy who has recently done a survey on his list to see how many out of his 50,000 followers actually makes more that $1000 / month profit online.
The answer was that 70% dont !!

I bet most of those people can make it if they just focus on one thing and take more action.

If you come under that category and have internet marketing knowledge then there is a business just waiting for you. Have a look at the videos that are on the page my signature is linked to.

It is genuinely a fantastic opportunity that I am confident will help a huge amount of marketers.

I wouldn't promote it , wasting my time and yours if I didn't truly see value in it.

    All the best

Internet marketing requires lots of commitment and time, which most of us with full time jobs don't really have. I try to work on it as much as possible.

The truth is, you will need to work at the speed you want. However, when you are starting new you will have to spend a lot of time and effort marketing your site. To be honest, it can even be more demanding than a day job but when it starts getting profitable you can change your work time.

For me i work five times a day for 6 hours. Weekends i use 4 hours to write articles.

I write articles for employers full time. It seems to really work out for me and on the side I try to work on one of my own websites which is growing slowly day by day. I recently invested in some promising software that should help me to market and expand my site. Eventually, I plan to ditch the employers that I write articles for and pursue my own affiliate marketing route.

People who have less time tend to get more done because people with all the time they need always have time to do what they need to do later on. Working smart is working right. Plan your actions for the next day.

Most people that say they work 8 hours really only put in 1 or 2 hours of actual real work.

People with less time don't have the time to spend hours reading and researching. They try more things faster. They fail faster in turn gaining more hands on experience and end up being more successful than someone with all the time in the world

I work 3-4 solid hours a day but spend 8 -10 hrs online everyday. Except for today I woke up at 6am and started writing an 50 page ebook in 12 point font. I finished at 2pm. But the time I was working was 8 straight hours of focused time. I can actually take the next few days off now because I'm not releasing this ebook until April 2nd.

If you are not getting the results you want.... Maybe you should cut back on the time you have for IM and plan your daily actions and make sure your doing a little of something everyday.

Hi Dashboy, although it's not easy, I would try to 'focus' on one or two tasks a day and make the best job of them as you can. I know it's easier said than done, but it helps. The 'work' you do is always better when you do that. Try not to get distracted, because you don't get far and tend to waste a lot of time and energy.

    Hope this helps, Ray.

It would be interesting to know if you schedule your daily work, or if you just work for as long as you have the time to work.

For instance, do you work 3 hours a day no matter if you have a lot more time to work and a lot more work to be done, or does it depend on time and the amount of work?

I work around 4-5 hours a day online 7 days a week. The best way you can increase your chances of being successful online is consistency :).
