How Many Hours A Day Do You Spend Marketing?

I was just curious on how many hours daily you guys spend marketing? I usually spend 4-8 what about you.

 

About 4 hours daily but it all depends on the day. Sometimes I have a lot of work and sometimes I have nothing.

 

I spend up to 8 hours marketing somedays.

 

When I launch a site I tend to put in a week or two of 10-12 hour days. That's obviously just at the beginning and I am referring to PPC-earning sites. I've not had much luck at affiliate sales so far.

I should spend more time, more regularly and I plan to.

It will be based on the person. Me I work 12 hours a day.

 

I am full-time webmater and I put around 12-14 hours a day in working for marketing/seo.

 

I only work 4 hours a day, but usually only 2 hours a day, I only posting 5 posts a day from affiliate website. Combining adsense and affiliates are really good. $1000 adsense + $2000+ from affiliate. I have work 2 weeks only 4 hours before vacations. Before vacation posted articles for 2 weeks with scheduled, I can enjoy my vacation without worry about my website. How about you?

 

I spend at least 10 hrs a day to get new customers and new visitors to my website. But I am sure everything will pay off real soon

Probably around 3-4 hours per day. If it is weekends may spend more times.

 

In all honesty...hhmmm...unless i completely plan out my day, the actual time i spend on building my business varies from day to day.

I can quite easily sit in front of my PC/laptop for 14 hours a day and call it "work" or "research" and then actually produce nothing constructive. So my 14 hour day, may be reading and replying to e-mails, hanging out on relevant forums or reading other people's content, but let's face facts...that is not working.

On the days, that i am focused and ready to work, i will plan out my tasks throughout the day. To make sure i don't get stale or bored i will plan regular breaks throughout the day. A break can constitute 10 minutes away from the computer screen.

The days that i plan i will usually produce 7 hours of consistent work on building my business over a 10 hour period!

 

Only 1 to 3 hours i spend for marketing.

 

I have a lot of other things going on IRL, and it makes it hard to market for long periods of time. I average around 30 minutes to an hour and a half a day, but sometimes don't market at all for long periods of time. Obviously, I haven't made anywhere near the amount of money I had been hoping for.

 

8-10 hours usually, I go to work and do it and then head home and work on my personal sites

 

4-5, and that is split up as I run other businesses.

 

Since I haven't been able to quit my day job, I can only put in about 2-4 hours a day on average. I would like to do more as I think you get out of it what you put in. It takes time to gain momentum and create the snowball effect. I am still waiting for it to at least start snowing

 

probably only two hours on average but I get plenty traffic and work so it's not about quantity but quality

 

I have 4 sites 3 product sites and the joke site all in all i spend about five hour's a day sometimes more. The joke site takes up most of the time by promoting it and adding new jokes and I still play with the ads to see which ad is paying off the most, and which catergory needs more refining.I use adbrite thru the whole site except one catergory which is strictly adsense.

 

I'm very big into the whole Lifestyle Design bit, and in some senses of the word, I'm always marketing. I've met new customers and teammates at bars, concerts, while shopping, etc. Specific efforts towards online marketing are generally under an hour per day. I am also in a commission only relationship, so I try to focus my time on closing!
