I promote 15 products by writing articles. I average one sale per 140 hoplinks. Is it ok or i need a big improvement?

100-150 hops per sale is an average conversion rate for a product.

If you can improve that, then you should certainly do it.

There is always room for improvemt
The key is to track the keywords or phrases that generates the sales, then a process begins with finding similiar "sales" keywords, expand on them.

Hoplinks? My average is like 100 highest, but it depends on the niche, and of course the keywords.

It depends on the product, keyword, landing page, etc. Sometimes I get a conversion rate of 1:30 which is great but sometimes it's 1:150.

It really depends on you. Somtimes I will have products with like 400 hops to sale but its free traffic on a site I throw up that brings in a crapload of hops every day because its not that targetted. The more targeted your traffic is (and the more you refine it) the lower your hops will get. This is especially important if you're doing PPC.

I'd work to get it down to 1 sale every 75 hoplinks. A lot of things can play into your ability to do this though. Tracking keywords that convert, doing keyword research for articles you write, picking a highly converting niche...

It is all about long tail keywords attracting ready to buy shoppers of goods matched to what you offer.

Let's face it....why do you buy something? How do you go about it?

You actively look for that something.
When you find it....you evaluate it for quality!!

    Does your product provide quality?
Do you match keywords to your product niche?
How well is your product explained?
Do you provide a demonstration video?
Do you provide testimonials (videos are the best)?

Follow these steps to attain 1 sale to 25 visits.

    hope this helps

P.S. never flog a dead horse - it will not matter if the horse is flogged 30 to 130 times, it still will not move!
