How many hop clicks need to make a sale

    Hi there,
    what is general ratio for you to make a sale. How many hopes clicks and you guys get sale?

    Are you using their tracking system?

    Please share your clicks and sales ratio

    There is no exact answer to your query. Hops/Sale is different and depends on many factors like Type of Product, Sales page, traffic origin etc. Sometimes I get a sale with just 10-20 hops and sometimes 300 hops without a sale. That's affiliate marketing!

    If there was any average in the widest imagination, it should be about 1 in 60 - 100.

    But then, it greatly varies. many factors are in play here: Your pre-sell, sales page, niches, type of traffic you get and so on. Come to think of it, just because you send 1000 Chinese visitors to a page that general converts 1 in 100 dose not mean you will get 10 sales.

    And Don't forget there is a bit of luck too!!!!!

    As one person above says, there is no exact number of hops to make a sale.

    You could get a sale on your very first hop and then none for the next 100. It's all a numbers game. However, if your product caters to a hungry market and you are driving targeted traffic then you can expect low hop counts to sales.

    Generally speaking a normal conversion rate/ as in targeted traffic would be between 50 - 100 hops.

    I have done lots of testing of the past two years, and marketed several niches, so yeah I can say that if a product doesn't convert in at least 200 hops then then we just need to move on.

    I have a blog that is linked to youtube and i update daily.. i can go almost weeks without converting n thats about 1000-1500 hops!

    What do u think the problem is??

    In case of clickbank, it varies anywhere from 25 to 500 for me. Actually it depends upon the product. For many products, you should get a sale at least for every 100 hops (assuming that you have targeted traffic from the right countries and know how to presell) For some products, you have plentiful traffic so even 1:250 conversion rate is good in that case. An example can be any product that can receive lots of traffic from video marketing.

    And that's for CB. For adult programs, the conversion rates are 1:1500 upto 1:2500 (even poorer in many cases but you get lots of traffic there) So it depends upon the product, your traffic quality and things like that.

    There are some keywords that convert 1:10. And that's what a recent popular money making ebook at clickbank tells you. Some gurus just rehash the information available at the War room for free. That's how it goes on. As I once saw NC saying, "Selling shit with a golden cover" (something similar to this)

    50 is about my standart. depends on how targeted the traffic you're sending is and your ability to presell.

    Just took a look this morning when checking my stats and the average conversion rate is ~45%, but in terms of hops per sale ranges from 30 to 50... if it goes over that the sale is really not going to happen.

    I average about 120 hops per sale. But as others have mentioned it depends on too many factors to come up with any rule of thumb.
