How Many High Quality Links? How Quickly?

Hi,

How many high quality directory links (PR 4+) can I point to my site each day/week/month so Google won't punish my site? I am legitimately trying to get traffic from these links but having the PR boost certainly won't hurt.

Also, should I very my link text? If, yes what is the max amount of keywords I should use in each link?

You ask how many high quality links you can point to your site each day/week/month
it all depends on the age of your site, if your site is new you should build backlinks
slowly, if your site is older then you can build backlinks a bit faster.

You should vary the anchor text used in your backlinks, you should not use more than
3 keywords in each link.

 

You should also use deeplinks on directories, rather than just pages linking to the homepage alone. That way it will seem more natural.

The site is about 1.5 years old. It is out of the "sandbox" and ranks for some decent keywords. Could somebody suggest a quantity number (from their experience) I should not go over when adding links?

 

I think it would be safe if you build 500 links a week.

 

To make your site become as the PR "X", you have 2 options:
1. obtain thousands of backlinks form article directories, social bookmarking sites, web directories, and more. You must regularly add those backlinks to your site daily or weekly during 3-6 months.
2. get linking from other website that have PR "X+2" (make sure it is genuine). And never removing the linking during 3-6 months. Once you get the PR4, and make sure to never remove the linking!

Not all directories that you submit your site approves your site instantly, some take weeks, most take months! So, submit as many as you wish! [Am talking about free directories here]

If you are submitting to paid directories, you can make some planning, say 1 submission per day! The consistency in the growth of the backlinks, not numbers, helps a lot! if you build backlinks in a consistent manner then it will help more as it looks natural!

Yes, you should not worry if you submit to directories because the approval time varies and can be extended up to 6 months...

 

What would be considered an 'new' site? 6 months? 9? A year or more? Just curious.

 

Try to get like 30 or so a day. Increase it if u want once u get indexed
