how many high pr back links are needed?

    Hi all

    If I have a pr 2 site and want to take it up to higher levels, how may high pr back links do I need to budget for in order to achieve around pr 5?

    Any possible formats or equations to follow?

    sometimes only one PR6 link needed to get your site to pr5

    There is no rule as such to follow but yes even few high PR links (PR6+) can take your PR much higher in 1-2 PR updates.

    I've a query here. We've focus too much on linking with higher page rank. But does it give any affect to that higher page rank website when he exchange link with low page rank?

    When a high PR site links to low PR site, it really doens't effect much to the former except adds another back-link.
