How many google ads can be displayed on each page?

    I want to know how many google ads can be displayed on each page of our site. The TOS of adsense policy says that max 3 ad units and 3 link units can be placed on each page but in many sites i am surprised to finds several ads and though it amounts to violation of TOS of adsense policy their accounts aren't disabled i don't know why. Does anyone has got the answer?

    He is correct with 3 but I believe it is against Google ToS if you put them in the navigation bar of your site.

    I think this is depending on the content u have on your webpages. if u have more content then u put more adsense ads.

    I don't think that it depends on the content of the webpage. Have a look at the adsense policy relating to Ad Placement which states:-

    "AdSense offers a number of ad formats and advertising products. Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements, provided the following policies are respected:

    * Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
    * A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
    * Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
    * Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.
    * AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
    * No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email.
    * Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
    * No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.
    * No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant".

    You can put ads more than what is allowed by google but will not be displayed. Post or PM me a link of those sites

    This is the maximum ads you can put per page

    3 Adsense for Contents (Image and Text)
    3 Adsense link units
    3 Adsense for Referrals
    2 Adsense for Search

    On any given page, you're welcome to place up to:

    - Three standard ad units
    - Three link units
    - Two search boxes
    - Three referral ad units
    - One video unit
