How many forums?

I’m a member of this forum and another one. I’ve just started out at forums. I think participating in two or three forums would do; joining too many there would not be much time to be with each. What’s the opinion of more experienced forumers?

 

well, if you enjoy it and have enough time for being around on this forum and many others, why not? But if you have lots of other things to do, then you can pay people that have been on these forums for a while, have good reputation and would be able to properly promote your business.

 

I think you fell very interest to continue in one forum if you have not enough time.so you can choose.......

I've been primarily on one forum since I started with IM, which was April '07. Now I'm three total.

IMO, you will develop friendships and networking allies much quicker if you stick with one forum and invest your time there.

 

DigitalPoint is more than enough for me. I don't participate in any other webmaster forums.

 

Really? I never heard of this: finding people active on forums to pay them, to promote your business? How often is this done? What do the people who are paid, say?
