How Many Forums Do You Own (Any Software!)

I guess you all skipped by question so here it is again. I hope RectangleMan can answer this question because you have a lot of experience with forums

 

I'm not sure about other forums, but MyBB have a default username for google, yahoo and MSN bots and lump them all under the same name, so it appears there is only one at a time I may not have explained that correctly, but that is the gist of it.

 

They love vBulletin because it is the forum software which as so many SEO feayures already added to it. If you SEO any forum Google will search the forums.

 

I have sold mybb forums for $xx,xxx. I have sold phpbb forums for high $x,xxx. From personal experience....VB isn't for me. It's bloated and it's costly. I have so many forums that to have a VB license for each would bankrupt me. For me I need free...simple to update...and as feature rich as possible. I need the best plugin system too which imho that's Mybb. I can add a LOT of stuff without touching any core files.

I used to have a vBulletin forum, but I sold it. I plan on buying a vBulletin forum very soon however.

 

Well I am planning on making some more forums now. Time to put my long awaited plans into action.

 

I have just one right now. It is a lineage 3 forum. It doesn't get much traffic right now since the game isn't released yet and there isn't much news for it. Right now i am working on seoing my forum so when the news about the game does get released hopefully more people will come to the forum. I want to create more forums but not until the forum I have right now pays for itself (10$ for the domain) and ranks good for my keyword. I want to go slow and steady, build up good seo and have the forum profitable before I move on. I'd rather run a couple profitable forums rather than 20 dead forums.

 

I now have my one vBulletin forum as I said in my first post. However I now own five new forums. All on myBB.

 

I have one active forum running on SMF, I have used Phbb in the past but didn't like it very much. Now I am looking at MyBB for a new project. SY

 

I must say that myBB is actually looking good. It is good and secure. I would recommed it. Try it.

 

I have recently created a Pokemon forum that is running MyBB. I'm also a co-admin on a gaming forum that uses vBulletin.

 

I seen your forum on myBB support forums. Very nice. Hmm would you be able to PM me actually I have some questions for you.

I have seven forums now. However one of them is not up yet. I recently bought it. Another myBB.

 

I own one forum (so i can concentrate on it esecially) a martial art one, running off Fireboard (Joomla component!)
good software though, it;s said to be close to SMF but with simpler coding

 

I have never heard of that software. May I have a link to your forum please?

 

I have two forums hosted on free sites and I am pretty happy with them. One is a forum for writers and the other is about Internet TV BroadcASting. If anyone is interested:
