Hi My Name Is Gabriel,
At The Moment Im Working in the Medical Field in the USA, But In My Spare Time Im A Internet Fanatic And Have Recently Stopped splogging and flipping websites in order to focus on Long Term Businesses and more significant Revenue. My current VA is a Filipino and I prefer to outsource to that country. But that's not the only reason I'm here.

The Reason I Became A Member Here Is To Get Ideas And Help On How To Improve My Websites, Network with Affiliates and Outsourcers, And Increase My Technical Skills. I'm big on outsourcing, sharing resources, and I believe my natural talents revolve around teaching.

Hope I Can Make A Positive Contribution Here And Learn As much as possible at the same time.

I will start my contribution to this particular forum by offering 100% free wordpress blog hosting to people who are willing to beta test my site and who are also interested in marketing it as an affiliate when the site is opened to the public. I will select the most promising people and register everyone manually during the beta test. It should be obvious that the plugins and wordpress themes will be restricted to what I have loaded and I will add beta testers to the site gradually since I'm not sure how much my server can handle. As beta testers you will help me determine the best hardware and software stack for this project, and will have input on what I offer to the public.

Thanks for the welcome. I read the FAQ and as far as I can tell I'm not violating any kind of rule, but I can see how I might be misunderstood. From what I understand you're supposed to contribute something to the forum before selling anything, so I'm doing that but also asking for help in return.

Nobody who signs up through this thread will ever be charged for hosting on my service and no I'm not supporting my site by spamming you with ads or by injecting ads onto hosted blogs. This is a freebie. This is not a "bait and switch" scheme where I "host your blog for free, oh-no-I-mean-pay-me" type of deal. It's 100% free. I need to see what my server can do before it starts slowing down, and how much it will cost me to run a decent sized site. The worst thing that can happen is that I'll say "whoa this wasn't a good idea", in which case I'll give you time to download your files before I shut down the site.

So if you understand that (unlikely) risk and you'd like free blog hosting on Anticompany, just respond to this thread. I particularly need some constructive criticism on how the blogs are configured when they go live, as well as on my choice of blog themes and plugins.

I've focused on affiliate-centric themes like squeeze pages and landing pages, but I do have some adsense-oriented themes, small business oriented themes, photo gallery themes, and "authority site" styled themes for wannabe bloggers and gurus. The server really needs to be load tested before I start charging customers, and of course I'll need feedback on the training materials and forum once they are finished. We're looking at 2-4 weeks until launch so if you are interested in being an affiliate, that's really cool and appreciated, but I need to test the capabilities of the server so that i can launch quickly without worrying about 100's of sites going down.

I'm worried because Wordpress-MU is supposedly a resource hog but there is no documentation of exactly how resource hungry it is.

I've made a few custom wordpress themes that allow you to setup a landing page quickly and easily. As a matter of fact the default theme and initial, automatic post create a landing page the moment you sign up. If you don't want a traditional blog and already have an affiliate link or hoplink to what you want to sell, all you have to do is edit the text. You can have a page live in seconds, and each post is automatically pinged by 30 services. I really like this feature and will be spending the weekend cranking out as many mini-sites as I can. I cannot post live links yet, but if you want to see what I'm talking about, check out: test2.anticompany.org/ by copying and pasting that into your browsers address bar. And correct me if I'm wrong, but no other wordpress host does anything even remotely like this.

All blogs are setup with plugins for aweber, intense debate, twitter, facebook, google friend connect, amazon, clickbank, ebay, a shopping cart plugin for an ecommerce store, and paypal. You don't have to hunt for or install any plugins. All you have to do is turn them on. Security, Analytics, and Spam fighting tools are already installed and work in the background.

And yes, of course I'd prefer people who have established email lists or sites revolving around blogging or IM, and I will have to be selective if there are a lot of responses to this thread. But right now that's not the case, I don't have to be the least bit selective. I am currently registering people manually since I do not want spammers to be able to register for free using automated software, and I am also not ready to begin charging people yet.
