How Many Fees Do You Have To Pay By Selling Something On Ebay?

    I've been using eBay to buy things, now i want to start selling. As i look though the fee charts, I'm confused. How many fees are you actually paying? Is it even worth selling on eBay anymore? Between eBay and Paypal fees i would think most of your selling margins have been eaten away with fees. A little here and a little there, it all adds up. Please inform me with what you know. A big thanks in advance.

    You have to pay around 12% eBay fees and a percentage on shipping charges + Paypal fees and conversions. Yes, you have to pay a lot of fees. However, if you are making this as your full time job then its worth it as you can earn pretty well on eBay.

    Ecal is a free web based Ebay Fee Calculator, it will tell you all the fees and your profit, based on the type of account you have.

    I can't post links but if you google: ecal ebay fee calculator - you should come across it - its available for many different currencies.
