I would strongly recommend against adding people you don't know personally on Facebook. Think about all the information you have on your page, that anyone could use to steal your identity. -Your name -Your birthday -Where your from -Pictures of you that are tagged to clearly identify you -Sometimes people put up their email and phone number Really you shouldn't add people you don't know on there, cyber criminals use FB to steal identities all the time.
Few minutes ago i had 79 friends, all of them i know personally. And now i have 80 friends in my FB account. But i have 500+ fans in my pages and 150+ in my group.
I have around 100. I don't add people i dont know as well. Only people who i know as friends or friends of friends and family.
I only add people I actually know to my facebook page and keep it on the highest security settings for privacy. I found that I got a lot of people to request me as a friend once I did that. People that were ninja viewing my page now had to ask to be a friend to spy on me
