My wife has been gone for almost 2 weeks now and my gun needs a good cleaning. She gets back Saturday and I hope it doesn't go off by accident.
Gun laws are too stringent in the UK for me to get one. I could get a shotgun and go shoot clay pigeons but thats about it...
I can only think of Full Metal Jacket when they march round their quarters chanting: With one hand on the rifle and the other one i a MJ pose. Edit: No I don't have a rifle
I currently own 1 Glock 9mm handgun, 1 Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun, and 1 Mossberg .22 rifle. When I have more spare cash I'll be getting an assualt rifle (most likely the AR15) and possibly a long range hunting rifle.
Why not? Why do I need a "plan" to own guns? Where I grew up (in the rural midwest) it is normal for most households to own guns. People go hunting, shoot cans, etc.. it's fun. So far I've only been to the shooting ranges to learn safety and to practice my aim. I'm planning to go hunting when the hunting seasons permit as well. The Glock - Mobile (and concealed) Self Defense The Shotgn - Home defense/hunting The .22 - just for fun Actually, yes they are. My friend owns one and it's quite fun to fire. You wouldn't understand if you haven't given it a try.
Nope not yet . For just practice and leisure the bigger caliber guns get expensive to shoot and have so much kick it gets old after a few shots. you can take the .22 or 9mm and shoot for hours without a sore shoulder or wrist and it will only cost you $5.00
You could buy some hippies and let them run around on the range...That might keep it exciting for you
BTW Will .. last time I was at the range we rented a springfield XD... I actually liked it over the glock.. have you heard much about them? http://www.springfield-armory.com/prod-xdpstl-sub-compact.shtml
