How many domains hosted on ip with php

    Bing has a reverse ip keyword thingie, google it (or bing it). It's quite incomplete but it's what most these sites are using. What they can also do is simply scrape other sites that return a complete list, which is ofcourse not a very good way..

    Well if most sites just scrape it from bing or yahoo then I guess its how its done.. I was looking for the REAL way either by scraping whois/NS records results etc.. I'm probably thinking its harder to do than it really is.

    It _is_ hard, you basically would need a list of all websites in existence, then get their ip addresses and compare them. Don't think there is any other way. Sites like domaintools.com can offer reverse ip lookup because they have this big database.
