HI, I'm just curious. I've seen you have some 5,000 domains. I suppose You are paying about $7 per year reg. That's $35,000 The question is, how can you really afford the reg fees for these domains? Do you use name parking services for these domains? Or you just developed some of them that bring in most of the income and just keep the other domains registered (looking for sale in the future)? I hope for you you get a lot of money at least to cover the fees. I've always been fascinated by those people who owns more than 1,000 domain names. That's truly amazing for me. Thanks, Irongloves
LOL, the other day I told someone that I thought I had too many domains and that I started ditching some. I'm down to 19 now!
Hi there, I got around 100 domains, 80 or so of them active on 5 dedicated servers ... quite some stuff to manage already... I wish there would be a convenient solution for multi-server management over multiple whm servers
I use Plesk now as I changed my server recently - according to their website they have an add-on which allows you to control multiple servers from the control panel of a designated master server. I don't know how much you can actually do with this application but, on paper, it sounds good. Maybe there is something out there that would work on your setup? Cheers, Charles nb: forgot to mention 13 client domains in my post above, ooops!
thanks charles - actually I think I heard about Plesk once or twice... My big issue would be the seamless and most convenient (not to speak of *WORKING*) migration of aprox 80 or so live domains of 5 servers! I really don't dare to take this project, as I'm sure I can find something more promising to do with the days of hassles it would cost me...
