    i'm wondering why i am reading a forum that details how many domain names are owned by strangers.

    for those of you out there who find this information to be of use, please, tell me why ???

    why would anyone find this information beneficial?
    why would i read this thread in detail?
    why am i asking such questions, when i will probably not return to this thread?

    interesting to know the numbers...I just got bit by domain buying bug 4 months back and have bought over 35 domains till now. With every purchase, I have project in mind, but never get around executing them lol

    I own about 100 domains, all parked with sedo.
    I recently sold one for $5K and last year I sold one for $2.5K.
    None of them generate any revenue to speak of but obviously, if you can sell one periodically for a decent price, you're ahead of the game.

    No it isn't. There are people out there that owns 10,000 to over 100,000 domains. Unfortunately I have a long way to go to get to that stage :(

    Well it depends you don't want names that are just rubbish of course 10,000 quality domains would be great.
