How Many Domain Names are Currently Registered?

    I was just wondering how many domain names are currently registered overall?

    Is it over 100 million? :confused:

    Maybe over 100 million if we count other small registrars.

    I am a writer for for DNKitchen.com and was writing an article and wanted to know where I could find an exact amount of all the domains that were currently registered across all of the different domain registrars. Thanks ;)

    Well the Verisign report gives rough figures for the numbers of domains registered. The DomainTools www.dailychanges.com gives the figures for com/net/org/biz/info/us. My own site, www.hosterstats.com has the registration figures for com / net/ org/ biz / info / mobi / asia / ie / eu and about 55 ccTLDs.
