How many directories should I submit?

submit quality directories with out any limitations ,what ever you will find submit all but in proper categories .do some pr directories too.

 

Register with as many as you can find, but make sure you do it manually (ie not through a company promising to sign you up to 100 directories)

Generally speaking you will get much better results if you only submit to high quality directories. From experience I would suggest that you have a varied link text, this is just as important as quantity of links. Try to only submit to directories that are in your niche. ehen these run out submit to directories with as high PR as possible, then when these are exhausted submit to zero rated directories. But its important to get links from other places not just directories, your linking needs different types of links in order to be successful.

 

I think this is more than enough. Someone told me to do 20-25 directory on daily basis.

Its depends on you. you can post as many directories as you can..

 

Don't you think that substitution of 10k directories in a day is more than enough? So how can you say as many as you can? It is good to submit on many directories but there must be a limit for daily submission because instant submitting on 10k directory or this huge amount of off-page work may be spam your site/page.
