how many digg does it take to go on homepage

    I am new to digg and i 've just post my first story. I read the FAQ and it said "Once a story has received enough diggs, it is instantly promoted"

    My question is, how many digg is enough digg? On the homepage, i saw some story got digg over thousand time where some just 50 times

    I think it is a certain number in a certain time period and I think (not sure) the certain number is 30 or around it.

    Yeah its diggs/time. In order to stay there you need to get more diggs.

    Some have said that comments play a factor too. Like if your post generates good amount of buzz (read "comments") that might help.

    Don't know if it's true.
